The Giant Mountains.
Bigger than ever.
And we're here to help you experience them.
About the destination
Špindlerův Mlýn lies in the Elbe valley at 760 m above sea level and is the largest ski resort in the Czech Republic. The Elbe river begins right here — one of the great rivers of Central Europe. Its source is on the Labská meadow at 1,387 m.
The Giant Mountains National Park — the oldest in Czechia, established in 1963 — surrounds the resort on all sides. Nature, peace and mountain air are always within reach.
Winter in Špindl
28 km of slopes · 5 chairlifts · night skiing at Hromovka
South-facing slopes with the most sunshine of any area in the resort. Four-person chairlift to Medvědín. Horní Mísečky has a children's slope with ski school and the Burton Snowpark — ideal for first steps on skis.
The new Přehradní slope with a direct view over the Elbe reservoir. Red and blue runs for intermediate skiers. Every evening night skiing 18–21 h — one of the longest lit slopes in Czechia.
The resort's flagship — FIS-homologated slope, venue for World Cup races. Heated six-seat chairlift. Snowpark with halfpipe, jump zone and freestyle area. Black and red forest runs for racers and advanced skiers.
